Getting Started
Get out of the city and head to Moreton Island for the day. It’s all about snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding, and whatever else you feel like doing when you want to do it. This day pass is just the ticket for the active types who like to have a bit of freedom to design their own fun day out. From the iconic Tangalooma Wrecks to some beachside action and resort facilities, the day’s your oyster.

What the Day Pass Entails
Morning
- Take the ferry to Moreton Island, and get oriented with what’s on offer at the resort
- Pick up your equipment hire for the day and start planning out your adventure
Midday
- Get in the water at the Tangalooma Shipwrecks for a snorkelling session that you’ll never forget
- Take out a kayak or paddleboard and explore the lagoon at your own pace
- Take a break for lunch (though you’ll need to splash out for this yourself) and have some time to relax
Afternoon
- Get involved with all the land-based activities the resort has to offer, such as mini golf, basketball, tennis, and a whole range of beach sports
- Make the most of the resort facilities before it’s time to head home
Late Afternoon
- Catch the ferry back to the mainland and head home
Note: You can do the activities in any order you like, and you’ve got to fit them in within your allocated hire times.
- Return ferry transfers, so you don’t have to worry about getting to or from the island
- 3 hours of kayak hire, so you can explore the waters at your own pace
- 3 hours of snorkelling equipment hire, so you can see the amazing marine life of the Tangalooma Shipwrecks

- Food and drinks can be purchased on the island, but you’ll need to bring your wallet or card
- If you want to do any extra or upgraded activities, you’ll need to pay separately
- And if you’re feeling really adventurous, you can pay extra to go on a quad bike experience
- Don’t forget your swimwear & towel, you’re going to need them!
- Sunscreen and a hat to keep you protected from the sun
- If you’re planning on doing any walking, make sure you bring comfortable shoes or sandals
- A change of clothes, in case you get wet or want to change into something dry
- A refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day
- And finally, bring some cash or a card, in case you want to buy any food or souvenirs
Age limit: To join the day pass, kids have to be at least 6 years old
Some parts of it can be pretty hard on the body, so you might want to bear that in mind
If youve got asthma, you should bring your Ventolin inhaler along with you
Before you start, we need a $50 deposit to secure your spot, and it gets released after you leave
There is an extra form you have to fill in on arrival, it’s all pretty routine, though
The deposit usually gets processed within 5 to 10 business days, but it can vary
To be honest, this is probably best suited to people who can walk a bit, but not too much
Some bits might not be suitable if youve got mobility problems
Each person gets assessed as they go along to make sure they’re okay, so we can make a plan
If youve got any specific needs, give us a shout before you book, and we can go from there
The pass youve bought doesn’t include any grub
There are loads of options on the island at the cafes and food places
If youve got any dietary needs dont be shy, just bring your own snacks along

If it’s too bad, we may have to cancel or change plans for safety reasons.
