What You Can Expect

Start your adventure on one of our super-accessible forest tracks; there are even tap rails to help out our visitors with vision problems and special routes for wheelchairs and strollers. We’ve also got lots of seating areas along the way, so you can take a breather.

Just a short walk and you’ll be on the 40m elevated walkway that takes you out to our 10m cantilever platform, where you can peer out into the depths of the North Johnstone River gorge, very thrilling, I promise you.

After a quick rest at the second shelter, the Skywalk starts to wind its way through the rainforest canopy, offering up all sorts of amazing views of plants, insects and birdlife. There are two shaded shelters along the way so you can take a break when you need to.

At the end of the Forest Walk, a short little path will take you up to the lower viewing deck of our observation tower. And if you’re feeling adventurous, you can climb to the top (that’s 37m up) and enjoy the views from the very top, where you can see for miles and miles.

Allow about an hour for the whole shebang (but of course, take your time if you want to really enjoy it).
