Full Itinerary
7:45 am – Brisbane Pick-Up
We’ll be picking you up from the Brisbane CBD and heading off towards the ferry terminal.
Morning – Ferry to North Stradbroke Island
As we cruise across Moreton Bay, we take in the breathtaking ocean and island views. We’ll arrive on Minjerribah, and you can start exploring
Late Morning – Island Highlights
We’ll travel by bus to Point Lookout and take in the panoramic views from some of the best coastal lookouts on the island. Then, join us on a guided walk along the North Gorge Walk – this is one of the best spots in the country to spot marine wildlife
Midday – Beach Time & Free Time
We’ll head to Cylinder Beach for some swimming or relaxation. This is a great spot for a refreshing dip or just a coastal stroll. Grab some lunch from one of the local cafes while you’re there
Afternoon – Island Villages & Nature
We’ll explore Dunwich and Amity Point and learn all about the island’s history, fishing culture and Indigenous heritage. We’ll also visit Myora Springs and take a stroll along the peaceful boardwalks through the mangroves and freshwater creeks
5:45 pm – Return to Brisbane
We’ll head back to the mainland and have you back in Brisbane early evening

We’ve got a pretty good track record of spotting wildlife, but it can’t be promised
Swimming is weather and condition-dependent, so we’ll let you know when it’s safe to go in
Be prepared for some moderate walking, including along some uneven coastal paths & boardwalks
This tour is probably not suitable for people with mobility issues as it involves a fair bit of uneven coastal track. If you’ve got concerns about accessibility, please give us a shout before booking so we can discuss it.
Meals aren’t included on this tour, but there are heaps of options available from the island’s cafés & shops, including some veggie-friendly choices. If you’ve got specific dietary needs, just bring some food with you to be safe

Is this tour okay for kids?
Absolutely, families are welcome, just be aware that there will be some walking involved, and you’ll need to keep an eye on the little ones at the beaches.
Can I swim during the tour?
There is some free time at Cylinder Beach, but only if conditions are good for it.
Will we see whales on this tour?
Humpback whales are pretty common in the area between May & October, but don’t count on it; we can’t promise you’ll see any.
Do I need to bring my own lunch?
No, lunch isn’t included, but there are heaps of places on the island where you can grab a bite.
How long is the ferry ride?
It’s about 45-50 minutes each way.
