Our Sunshine Coast Hinterland and Noosa Tour is the perfect day trip from Brisbane if you’re after a dose of culture & some of the most beautiful scenery Australia has to offer.
We’re talking mountain views, coastal walks, craft villages and some of Queensland’s most gorgeous beaches, all in the one day, pretty much the ultimate Sunshine Coast experience.
On our tour with Great Barrier Reef Tour, we’ll take you into the rolling hills of the hinterland in the morning and then bring you down to the beautiful beaches of Noosa to round out the day, a seriously easy way to see the Sunshine Coast in a single day that you’ll never forget.

Full Itinerary
7:45 am – Brisbane Pick-Up
We’ll be collecting you from Brisbane and heading off north to the Sunshine Coast.
The Blackall Ranges Scenic Drive
We’ll wind our way up through rolling countryside and then through the forested ridges, taking in the most incredible views of the hinterland and the ocean below.
Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve (about 30 minutes)
Take a deep breath and take in the views over the Glass House Mountains, or take a walk through the rainforest or along the treetop boardwalk.
Montville Village (about 45 minutes)
You’ve got a couple of hours to do whatever you like, browse the galleries, pop into the shops, or just soak up the atmosphere of this gorgeous little village.
Eumundi Markets (1 hour)
Come and explore one of Australia’s premier markets, where you can find all sorts of unique handmade crafts, art, food, and local produce.
Note: On Fridays, we visit the Eumundi Square Markets, where some of the stalls are open
Noosa Heads (2 hours)
We’ll drop you off in Noosa and give you plenty of time to do what you like, grab a bite to eat, go for a swim, do some shopping, or just chill out by the beach.
And if you’re feeling adventurous, you can take an optional headland walk in Noosa National Park.
Sunshine Coast Beaches Drive
We’ll cruise south along the coast, past beautiful beaches like Sunshine, Marcus, Peregian and Coolum, each one’s got its own unique charm.
5:30 pm – We Get You Back to Brisbane
- A full-day guided tour from Brisbane, where we take care of the driving so you can just relax and enjoy the view
- A comfy air-conditioned bus to get you from A to B
- A knowledgeable local guide who’ll show you the ropes and share all sorts of insider tips and info
- Meals and snacks (you can grab these at the Eumundi Markets and Noosa; we won’t be providing them, but they’ll be available for you to buy)
- Any optional activities or shopping that you might want to indulge in
- Wear comfy walking shoes that you can walk in for a bit
- Don’t forget your hat, some sunscreen and a pair of shades
- Bring swimwear and a towel if it’s going to be a sunny day
- Take a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated
- You’ll probably want some cash or a card for food and shopping along the way
We’ll be doing some light walking on village streets, on boardwalks and if you’re up for it, a bit of coastal track.
Eumundi Markets only happen a couple of times a week, so make sure you book early
Obviously, the order of the itinerary might change if the weather isn’t cooperating or we hit some other snag
We go ahead in all weather conditions unless it’s just not safe to do so

If you’ve got any mobility issues, let us know in advance, and we can try to figure out if this is something you’ll be able to manage
You won’t get a meal included with this tour, but there are loads of options for eating gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan at the markets and cafes we visit
We have a standard cancellation policy that applies
If you want to change or cancel, you need to do it well before the tour departs
Sometimes we have to cancel the tour because of bad weather or operational reasons.
If that happens, we’ll either try to get you onto an alternative tour or give you a full refund

Is this a full-day tour?
Yeah, it’s an all-day thing. We leave Brisbane at 7:45 am and get back around 5:30 pm.
Do you provide meals?
No, sorry, but you can grab loads of food at Eumundi Markets and Noosa.
Is the Noosa National Park walk a must-do?
No, you can do the walk if you like, or if you’re not up for it, you can just go to the beach or explore the town instead
Does the tour happen on Fridays?
Yeah, it does, but on a Friday, we hit up Eumundi Square Markets instead of the full market, and we pick and choose some of the stalls
Is this tour suitable for international visitors with limited time in Brisbane?
Absolutely. This tour is designed as an easy, all-in-one day trip that showcases the best of the Sunshine Coast hinterland, markets and beaches without needing an overnight stay.
